Gate Sticking:
The gate sticks in the gate sleeve due to mechanical resistance inside the sleeve, insufficient cooling, or a malfunction of the pull pin.


19.1 Causes 19.2 Solutions
19.1.1 Insufficient runner draft angle, no mold release agent used. 19.2.1 Increase the runner draft angle and apply mold release agent appropriately.
19.1.2 Cooling time too short, nozzle and fixed mold temperatures too high, or runner diameter too large. 19.2.2 Extend cooling time, lower nozzle and fixed mold temperatures, and reduce the runner diameter.
19.1.3 Pull pin malfunction or absence of a cold slug well. 19.2.3 Increase the draft angle of the pull pin and add a cold slug well.
19.1.4 Inner wall of the main runner is rough, dented, or scratched. 19.2.4 Polish the inner wall of the main runner.
19.1.5 Weak connection between the sub-runner and main runner. 19.2.5 Strengthen the connection between the sub-runner and the main runner.
19.1.6 Nozzle temperature too low, poor alignment between nozzle and gate sleeve, or gate sleeve hole smaller than nozzle hole and trapping material. 19.2.6 Increase nozzle temperature, ensure proper alignment between the nozzle and gate sleeve to prevent misalignment, and replace the nozzle if necessary.
